Key Responsibilities

  • •Contribute to delivery of building services projects from concept through completion as part of a multidisciplinary team under experienced engineers.
  • •Support electrical building services systems with technical design contributions, including system load calculations and assistance with plant sizing.
  • •Help coordinate and size plant rooms and distribution routes, and prepare technical reports appropriate to each design stage.
  • •Assist in developing technical specifications and evaluating technical options while documenting design decisions.
  • •Attend project meetings/workshops and support site inspections and monitoring during construction and commissioning.

Key Requirements

  • •A bachelor’s degree (minimum 2:1 or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
  • •Degree accreditation by a relevant professional institution such as CIBSE, IET, or IMechE is preferred.
  • •A strong interest in building services, sustainable design, and multidisciplinary project delivery.
  • •Relevant industry experience through internships, placements, work experience, or project-based activities would be advantageous.
  • •Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, BIM processes, or electrical design software would be beneficial but is not essential.
