Key Responsibilities

•Coordinate with the DCEO Operations staff, collocation providers, real estate management, and EHS to advance and ensure compliance of programs, procedures, and training in the eastern US, with up to 50% travel to other sites
•Review non-routine experiments and work practices on prototype/first article equipment for qualification and validation by design and hardware engineers
•Ensure safety during medium voltage switching and during testing of medium/low voltage equipment with onsite facilities teams and vendors
•Ensure safety during validation, qualification, and deployment of liquid computer cooling equipment with engineers and vendors
•Initiate and conduct workshops and training sessions on H&S requirements including hazard analysis, electrical safety, chemical management, and ergonomics
•Coordinate with external firms and internal teams for audits and compliance inspections within DCEO site operations

Salary: USD 116,000 - 178,250 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in occupational safety, occupational risk management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
•5+ years of experience in hazard analysis and risk mitigation, internal EHS programs, and site inspections/audits
•Knowledge of US federal health and safety laws relevant to commercial/industrial environments with emphasis on electrical safety
•Knowledge of employee exposure monitoring programs related to noise, thermal stress, and chemicals
•Preparation and implementation of site-specific training modules/programs
