Job Summary

Own day-to-day network reliability and performance for global data centers, cloud connectivity, and FedRAMP-authorized environments. Engineer and optimize routing for a multi-region IP backbone using BGP/OSPF, build secure segmentation and traffic isolation, and troubleshoot complex routing and TCP/IP issues. Automate provisioning, configuration, compliance, and validation using Python, Ansible/AWX, and Git-based CI/CD, while maintaining auditable documentation and leading incident response as needed.

Key Responsibilities

•Engineer, build, operate, and deliver network solutions for global data centers and cloud platforms, including FedRAMP-authorized environments.
•Optimize and maintain routing for a global IP backbone across multi-region propagation, redundancy, and traffic-engineering strategies.
•Design and implement secure network segmentation, boundary controls, and traffic isolation for FedRAMP Moderate/High environments.
•Ensure network connectivity, availability, and performance through proactive monitoring, telemetry, lifecycle management, and FedRAMP continuous monitoring practices.
•Develop automation for provisioning, configuration, compliance, and validation pipelines and lead incident response and safe change execution when needed.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 137,600 - 206,400 annually

Key Requirements

•7+ years in network engineering with experience in large-scale, multi-region, global routing environments.
•Experience engineering, operating, or supporting FedRAMP Moderate and/or High environments is strongly preferred.
•Deep hands-on expertise with BGP and OSPF for global IP backbone environments, including traffic engineering and multi-vendor interoperability.
•Strong operational and engineering experience with JunOS (MX, QFX, SRX preferred).
•Hands-on automation skills using Python, Ansible/AWX, Git workflows, and automated testing/validation pipelines.
