Job Summary

Receive, store, pick, and distribute materials and products for the bakery operation. Read production schedules and work/shipping orders to move items to the correct areas, assemble customer orders on pallets, and maintain accurate inventory records, including cycle counts. Operate manual and automated material-handling equipment, load/unload trailers, and follow safety and hygiene procedures. Complete documentation tasks such as taking photos of loads and entering records using a computer.

Key Responsibilities

•Read production schedules, customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to move, gather, or distribute.
•Transport materials from receiving or production areas to storage or designated areas; sort and place items in the correct locations.
•Fill requisitions/work orders, assemble customer orders from stock, and place orders on pallets while marking materials with identifying information.
•Operate manual and automated material handling equipment, including loading/unloading trailers; record received and distributed quantities.
•Maintain safety and cleanliness standards, follow safe lifting/carrying practices, support 5S continuous improvement, and complete documentation (e.g., photos and computer-entered records).

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or GED and/or 1 year of production experience in a manufacturing environment.
•Ability to obtain and maintain forklift certification.
•Ability to pass a basic math skills test.

•Previous warehouse experience (minimum 1 year) and prior experience with Oracle or similar WMS system is preferred.
