Key Responsibilities

  • •Support the Director of Project Management in driving growth and profitability through leadership, new business development, client management, and service delivery.
  • •Manage new and existing client relationships, driving revenue via new work and contract renewals; identify cross-selling opportunities.
  • •Lead bid teams and proposal generation efforts, including attending client interviews and preparing/presenting client presentations.
  • •Provide line management for assigned staff, including coaching and mentoring, and ensure weekly updates on project status, staffing, and issues.
  • •Oversee financial management such as margin tracking, monthly fee/resource forecasts, accurate client invoicing, and follow-up on accounts receivable; lead program/project planning and delivery, including municipal liaison.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or a field related to construction; a graduate degree is preferred.
  • •Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in a project management role in the construction industry.
  • •Experience effectively managing client accounts and supporting client diversification.
  • •Experience managing teams of individual project managers and supporting staff.
  • •Strong understanding of the construction project life cycle and knowledge of the local construction market.
