Job Summary

Join the Compliance team to support the design, implementation, and ongoing effectiveness of the Global Compliance Program. Advise the business and Group functions on legal issues tied to compliance, develop and manage global compliance policies, and help deliver customized compliance initiatives across areas like antitrust, data privacy, cyber, AI, bribery, fraud, international trade, and whistleblowing. Contribute to hotline investigations and compliance training, including horizon scanning and thought leadership.

Key Responsibilities

•Support the design and implementation of the Global Compliance Program, owning discrete compliance areas and related reporting.
•Conduct horizon scanning across CRH’s footprint for regulatory/compliance developments and stakeholder requirements to drive continuous improvement.
•Advise the business and Group functions on legal issues relevant to the Global Compliance Program and changes in law that affect CRH.
•Develop and manage Global Compliance policies and collaborate on customized global compliance initiatives (e.g., competition/antitrust, data privacy, cyber, AI, bribery, fraud, international trade, whistleblowing).
•Support hotline reporting/investigations and contribute to the design and delivery of compliance training.

Key Requirements

•Qualified lawyer with ~3 to 5 years’ experience, including in-house work, work interfacing with a PLC/large multinational, or experience in a law firm.
•Experience with regulatory compliance and/or litigation and investigatory matters.
•Proven ability to upskill in different areas of law and/or international regulatory frameworks.
•Ability to support the design and implementation of a global compliance program with reporting responsibilities.
•Knowledge of compliance best practices and changes in laws and regulations for continuous program improvement.
