Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide data science consulting for Microsoft-technology-based IT systems delivery and outsourcing, including system design and build.
  • •Develop solutions using machine learning/AI and statistical models with Python/R, including end-to-end analytics project execution from upstream engagement.
  • •Lead analytics projects as a team lead, driving hypothesis creation, technology selection, model implementation, and verification cycles.
  • •Perform pre-sales by participating in proposals and presenting business advantages based on data science/statistical models to potential clients.
  • •Develop solution prototypes and validate/improve analytics solution architecture from practical implementation perspectives, with occasional domestic and international travel.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience proposing and delivering customer-facing data science solutions.
  • •3+ years using Python or R to build data analysis models for business (EDA, preprocessing, evaluation, retraining, CI support, etc.).
  • •Experience creating/extracting data and visualizing for analytics/reporting using SQL, Python, and/or R.
  • •Experience building and deploying data science solutions on Azure, AWS, or GCP (3+ years).
  • •Business-level Japanese (JLPT N1 equivalent) and ability to lead a team (4+ members).
