Job Summary

Manage the teller area to ensure transactions are accurate and fast while meeting service quality standards. Supervise and schedule tellers, monitor cash limits, and make shipment decisions. Review timecards, track attendance, provide guidance on operational/auditing policies, and identify training needs. Approve teller transactions, support complex customer issues, complete monthly audit reports, and complete required BSA/AML compliance training.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage the teller area to ensure efficient operations and accurate, fast transactions that meet service quality standards.
•Assign teller work duties and schedules; monitor cash limits and make appropriate shipment decisions.
•Provide approval on other tellers’ transactions and monitor/report branch activity (e.g., teller outages and assigned transactions).
•Review timecards, track absences and tardiness, and communicate with supervisors; provide guidance on operational and auditing policies.
•Train and coach tellers, assist with service problems and complex customer inquiries, serve as backup for CSR as required, and complete monthly audit reports and compliance training.

Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

•High school or GED, plus specialized schooling or on-the-job education, and 2 years related experience and/or training (or an equivalent combination).
•Ability to communicate effectively with customers, clients, the public, and employees in person-to-person and small group settings.
•Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations, including rates, ratios, percentages, and interpreting bar graphs.
•Ability to solve practical problems and interpret instructions in written, oral, or diagram formats.
•Ability to carry out supervisory responsibilities, including interviewing, hiring, training, planning/assigning work, and addressing complaints.
