Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage the teller area to ensure efficient operations and accurate, fast transactions that meet service quality standards.
  • •Assign teller work duties and schedules; monitor cash limits and make appropriate shipment decisions.
  • •Provide approval on other tellers’ transactions and monitor/report branch activity (e.g., teller outages and assigned transactions).
  • •Review timecards, track absences and tardiness, and communicate with supervisors; provide guidance on operational and auditing policies.
  • •Train and coach tellers, assist with service problems and complex customer inquiries, serve as backup for CSR as required, and complete monthly audit reports and compliance training.
Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

  • •High school or GED, plus specialized schooling or on-the-job education, and 2 years related experience and/or training (or an equivalent combination).
  • •Ability to communicate effectively with customers, clients, the public, and employees in person-to-person and small group settings.
  • •Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations, including rates, ratios, percentages, and interpreting bar graphs.
  • •Ability to solve practical problems and interpret instructions in written, oral, or diagram formats.
  • •Ability to carry out supervisory responsibilities, including interviewing, hiring, training, planning/assigning work, and addressing complaints.
