Key Responsibilities

  • •Use machine learning and insurance market knowledge to develop and implement price optimisation across LV, Allianz Online, and Britannia Car.
  • •Create and deliver project plans and communicate results to stakeholders across the business.
  • •Develop predictive models and analyse data using tools such as Python/WTW Radar and platforms like Databricks and SQL.
  • •Review junior team members’ work, provide feedback, and suggest improvements.
  • •Interpret analytical outputs and share technical knowledge with an emphasis on mentoring and collaboration within Pricing.

Key Requirements

  • •Strong knowledge of statistical methods, predictive models, and machine learning techniques to achieve business objectives, including GLMs and tree-based GBMs.
  • •Excellent data handling skills, producing summary statistics, transformations, and visualisations preferably with Databricks, SQL, and/or PySpark.
  • •Experience using tools such as Python or Willis Towers Watson Radar to analyse data and create predictive models in a team environment.
  • •Proficiency in Excel and MS Office applications.
  • •Ability to interpret analytical outputs and communicate results to technical and non-technical audiences, including reviewing junior colleagues’ work and mentoring.
