Job Summary

Operate and maintain specialized vacuum and cryogenic systems to support production of Integrated Dewar Cooler Assemblies (IDCAs). Load dewars onto vacuum pumps, perform LN2 boil-off procedures, track pump cycles, and conduct daily gas collection and evaluation. Use Residual Gas Analyzer (RGA) instrumentation to monitor and troubleshoot process integrity. Perform dewar leak checks, maintain cleanroom organization and materials, and document traveler and production data following established procedures.

Key Responsibilities

•Execute vacuum and cryogenic processing by loading dewars onto vacuum pumps, performing LN2 boil-off procedures, tracking pump cycle progress, and conducting daily gas collection and evaluation.
•Monitor and troubleshoot systems using Residual Gas Analyzer (RGA) instrumentation to screen for irregularities and debug to maintain process integrity.
•Maintain vacuum equipment and cleanroom readiness, including dewar leak checks and ensuring cleanliness, organization, and stocking of materials such as LN2.
•Create and maintain IDCA process documentation, including travelers and detailed data entry, per established procedures.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 30 - 37 hourly

Key Requirements

•Associate’s degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience, plus 5-10 years of hands-on experience in a similar manufacturing or process environment.
•Operate and troubleshoot high vacuum systems, leak checkers, and Residual Gas Analyzers (RGAs).
•Perform precision work with strong fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination, including use of hand tools and mechanical/electrical measurement equipment.
•Read mechanical assembly drawings and rudimentary schematics.
•U.S. Person is required due to access to U.S. export controlled information or facilities.
