Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead RF subsystem design, specification, integration, and qualification for semiconductor equipment, including generators, matching networks, filters, diagnostics/sensors, and power distribution.
  • •Optimize RF and RF-plasma performance by analyzing and improving plasma ignition, coupling efficiency, process uniformity, and repeatability; develop advanced RF control strategies.
  • •Integrate RF systems into semiconductor processing equipment and independently troubleshoot complex RF/electrical/plasma issues with minimal supervision.
  • •Support product releases by developing test plans, validating performance, ensuring manufacturability, and maintaining specifications/schematics/engineering documentation.
  • •Evaluate emerging RF technologies and conduct technical investigations/proof-of-concept testing; present findings and mentor junior engineers.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s (Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related) with 10+ years of relevant industry experience, or a Master’s with 8+ years, or a PhD with 6+ years in semiconductor or related capital equipment development.
  • •Deep expertise in RF engineering and RF power delivery system design, with strong understanding of RF-plasma interactions.
  • •Experience leading RF system integration and independently diagnosing/resolving complex RF, electrical, and plasma-related issues.
  • •Ability to define system requirements/performance specs, develop test plans, and ensure manufacturability for product releases.
  • •Ability to mentor junior engineers and lead small to medium-sized projects across multidisciplinary teams.
