Job Summary

Lead system and silicon validation for AMD EPYC Server and AMD Instinct products, focusing on AI and machine learning rack and cluster-scale platforms. Own validation strategy, test methodologies, and debug throughput for customer deployment scenarios, from CPU/GPU and firmware to networking, storage, OS, and infrastructure. Drive root-cause analysis, define readiness criteria and quality metrics, automate scalable validation workflows, and mentor engineers while coordinating across architecture, hardware, firmware, software, and manufacturing teams.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead system-level, rack-level, and cluster-scale validation strategy for AI and machine learning server platforms.
•Define and drive comprehensive validation plans across scale-up and scale-out customer deployment scenarios.
•Develop validation methodologies and test strategies across CPU, GPU, memory, BIOS, BMC, networking, storage, platform firmware, operating systems, and infrastructure components.
•Lead investigation and root cause analysis for complex hardware, firmware, software, networking, and system integration issues.
•Define readiness criteria and quality metrics, enhance scalable validation frameworks and automation, analyze validation data, and mentor engineers.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 154,490 - 264,840 annually

Key Requirements

•Extensive experience in validation roles debugging OS, FW, silicon, and hardware issues.
•Strong knowledge of X86 architecture, SoC design, memory, RAS, and power management.
•Good experience with platform/system-level debug, including operating systems, device drivers, and system BIOS interactions.
•Understanding of industry-standard busses and software stacks, such as PCIe and CXL.
•Excellent communication and coordination skills with strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail abilities.
