Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead Canadian compensation team and priorities, including market positioning, salary structures, annual compensation planning, pay equity, pay transparency, and regulatory compliance.
  • •Partner with HR and business leaders to advise on compensation strategy and Total Rewards implications for talent attraction and retention.
  • •Oversee core compensation cycles such as salary planning, bonus administration, compensation budgeting, and related governance processes.
  • •Use data analytics, market intelligence, and benchmarking to provide actionable insights and recommendations for talent and business decisions.
  • •Contribute to setting a global center of excellence for benefits intelligence and develop recommendations to support global benefits strategy and governance.
  • •Lead and coach a high-performing team across compensation and global benefits priorities.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, finance, actuarial sciences, or a related discipline; master’s degree is an asset.
  • •12+ years of progressive experience in compensation, benefits, or Total Rewards with leadership responsibility in a multi-jurisdictional organization.
  • •Demonstrated expertise in compensation strategy, program governance, market competitiveness, and regulatory compliance.
  • •Experience assessing benefits competitiveness and developing strategic, decision-ready recommendations.
  • •Bilingualism (English and French) to support stakeholders across Canada and contribute to global Total Rewards initiatives.
