Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide guidance on maintenance, repair, overhaul, and modification of aircraft and equipment.
  • •Monitor defects, delays, and engine removals; investigate and recommend remedial actions.
  • •Review technical data from manufacturers and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance, performance improvements, and cost efficiency.
  • •Liaise with manufacturers and translate technical bulletins into internal documentation such as Engineering Orders and Special Work Instructions.
  • •Track and manage maintenance/engineering costs (scheduled and unscheduled), perform cost analyses, maintain cost databases, and report cost performance while identifying cost-saving opportunities.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering or equivalent; a master’s degree in finance or business administration is preferred.
  • •Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Technical Services Engineer in an airline environment.
  • •Experience with CFM56 and LEAP-1A engines, including on/off-wing management.
  • •Preferable experience in low-cost airline operations.
  • •Proficiency in aviation ERP systems, especially AMOS, and strong understanding of aircraft maintenance costs and lifecycle costing.
