Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead engineering transformation for the Customer Due Diligence application in collaboration with CIB Client Services Engineering Leadership.
  • •Design and build solutions using microservice architecture, partnering with the product team to understand requirements and change impact.
  • •Deliver new functionality and replace legacy systems at high cadence, leading by example and supporting other teams.
  • •Own requirements end-to-end—from discussions with the business through development, testing, release, and production support.
  • •Develop AI/machine learning solutions using GenAI capabilities aligned to business objectives and performance metrics, while fostering engineering excellence and culture across teams.

Key Requirements

  • •Strong hands-on backend or frontend development experience (or both).
  • •Extensive experience building microservices and shipping iteratively to production, including RESTful API development.
  • •Extensive experience working with Java (17+) and building/managing database schemas using PostgreSQL.
  • •Practical exposure to GenAI (LLMs, RAG, document intelligence, agents) and implementing generative AI solutions in real-world applications.
  • •Experience influencing global engineering teams and transforming engineering mindset/culture, with a keenness to learn new technologies as needed.
