Key Responsibilities

  • •Own end-to-end vehicle system programme planning: scoping, sequencing, dependency mapping, risk identification, and decision-driving when requirements, timelines, or resourcing conflict.
  • •Stand up and run scaled agile cadence across the vehicle programme, coordinating planning increments and cross-team dependencies and owning the rhythm of PI planning, backlog alignment, system demos, and inspect-and-adapt events.
  • •Implement and maintain robust project management methodologies to drive predictability and accountability across the programme.
  • •Proactively identify and mitigate programme risks and challenges, developing mitigation plans with executing engineers.
  • •Engage technically on system architecture, interfaces, requirements baselines, and verification approach; manage production, supply chain, and test dependencies; and lead re-planning with clear communication through design review gates and milestone reviews.

Key Requirements

  • •Demonstrated systems engineering capability, including requirements decomposition, interface management (ICDs), verification & validation, and requirements traceability across complex systems.
  • •Technical depth to engage as a peer with engineers, understand architecture discussions, question estimates, and assess downstream effects of design decisions.
  • •Delivery experience spanning both hardware and software, including owning plans where mechanical, electrical, and software work converge and software scope is shipped.
  • •Hands-on experience running scaled agile delivery across multiple agile teams, including PI planning and managing cross-team dependencies (e.g., in Jira) and facilitating planning/sync/demo/retrospective events.
  • •8+ years driving delivery of complex engineering programmes with strong programme management fundamentals (scoping, dependency mapping, and risk management) and a relevant engineering/computer science degree or equivalent practical experience.
