Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide and maintain a safe work environment through continuous improvement, employee involvement, procedure development, and problem resolution.
  • •Manage daily/weekly/monthly safety audits, crane inspections, and mobile equipment inspections.
  • •Plan, organize, and direct daily activities to meet in-process final dimensional and plant-wide trucking requirements.
  • •Supervise hourly personnel to maintain and improve productivity; coordinate material handling and manpower allocation for trucking.
  • •Ensure compliance with ISO 9002/AS9100A and customer-specific inspection processes; review drawings and determine inspection techniques; compile problem-job data for corrective action; instruct and train personnel and support union contract requirements.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma.
  • •4+ years of dimensional inspection methods, techniques, equipment, and reading blueprints.
  • •3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment such as forging and machining.
  • •3+ years of general supervisory experience with knowledge of applicable labor contract provisions and accident prevention fundamentals.
  • •Preferred: prior machining experience.
