Job Summary

Provide senior legal leadership in the Institutional practice group, advising on institutional business, trading, and the P2P platform. You will guide complex legal and regulatory matters, including contract negotiations and structuring crypto financial products, assess digital-asset risks, and develop policies for institutional and P2P operations. Partner with product and business teams to ensure initiatives align with local and international regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

•Act as a key legal advisor for institutional business, trading, and P2P platforms, ensuring compliance and robust legal support.
•Provide strategic guidance and oversight on complex legal and regulatory issues, including contract negotiations and crypto financial product structuring.
•Conduct legal analysis and manage risks for new and existing digital assets, including how they are used and traded by institutional clients and on P2P.
•Collaborate with product development and business development teams to align new initiatives with regulatory requirements.
•Develop and refine policies and procedures governing institutional and P2P operations, adapting to the evolving digital-asset landscape.

Key Requirements

•Must hold a law degree and be eligible to practice as an advocate.
•Senior lawyer with at least 7+ years of experience at a law firm, digital assets firm, or top-tier financial institution.
•Proven track record at a top-tier law firm or in-house role at a top financial institution, with exposure to institutional trading operations.
•Experience negotiating and drafting lending/credit agreements, account control agreements, custody agreements, and delayed settlement agreements.
•Excellent drafting and communication skills; well-organized and able to work under pressure.
