Provide effective instruction in general faculty subjects and specialized courses within Health Information Management for second-language learners in a student-centric environment. Key Responsibilities

•Contribute to the implementation of HCT’s system-wide strategy and assist with development/preservation of system-wide and faculty/division policies.
•Teach courses aligned with course syllabi and program goals, supporting student learning in a second-language environment.
•Develop and use educational technology resources and provide continuous feedback using assessment tools (tests, projects, assignments).
•Serve as student advisor as assigned, provide at-risk recommendations, mentor students during internships/work placements, and maintain office hours.
•Conduct applied research aligned to faculty interests and the national innovation agenda, and participate in conferences/committees/student groups/events.

Key Requirements

•A Ph.D. in a relevant discipline is required where applicable.
•Or a Master’s Degree and a professional certification relevant to the discipline with 5 years of teaching and industry experience.
•Or a Bachelor’s Degree may also be considered for candidates with extensive industry experience and industry certification as per the discipline requirement.
•A minimum of 3 years teaching experience in the relevant discipline.
•A minimum of 3 years relevant industry experience is preferred.
