Key Responsibilities

  • •Contribute to the implementation of HCT’s system-wide strategy and assist with development/preservation of system-wide and faculty/division policies.
  • •Teach courses aligned with course syllabi and program goals, supporting student learning in a second-language environment.
  • •Develop and use educational technology resources and provide continuous feedback using assessment tools (tests, projects, assignments).
  • •Serve as student advisor as assigned, provide at-risk recommendations, mentor students during internships/work placements, and maintain office hours.
  • •Conduct applied research aligned to faculty interests and the national innovation agenda, and participate in conferences/committees/student groups/events.

Key Requirements

  • •A Ph.D. in a relevant discipline is required where applicable.
  • •Or a Master’s Degree and a professional certification relevant to the discipline with 5 years of teaching and industry experience.
  • •Or a Bachelor’s Degree may also be considered for candidates with extensive industry experience and industry certification as per the discipline requirement.
  • •A minimum of 3 years teaching experience in the relevant discipline.
  • •A minimum of 3 years relevant industry experience is preferred.
