Job Summary

Serve as the primary service and maintenance contact for Trane Technologies’ commercial HVAC customers in Laval. You’ll commission, troubleshoot, repair, and start up HVAC systems, using air conditioning theory, pipe fitting knowledge, and blueprints/engineering specifications. Coordinate on-site installation and repairs with team leaders and project managers, diagnose and fix equipment to ensure customer satisfaction, and uphold high safety standards while supporting overtime/weekend work as needed.

Key Responsibilities

•Coordinate with team leader/project manager and customer to understand requirements for on-site installation and repairs, forecasting issues and synchronizing work.
•Serve as direct customer contact and manage assigned project equipment to ensure customer satisfaction through diagnosis and repair.
•Commission, troubleshoot, repair, and start up HVAC units in a commercial environment using blueprints/engineering specifications and hand tools.
•Work with internal and external partners across new installations and retrofits.
•Maintain flexibility to work overtime and weekends as required, including occasional overnight stays, while enforcing safety standards and asset accountability.

Travel: Low travel

Pay and Benefits

Salary: CAD 40,500 - 85,800 hourly

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or equivalent, with typically 5+ years of HVAC experience (technical school/formal training preferred).
•Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office and proficiency with handheld devices (e.g., smartphone, iPad).
•Valid driver’s license for at least 12 months with no major or frequent traffic violations.
•EPA Certification.
•Ability to meet physical and safety requirements including PPE use, ladder use, and frequent lifting/moving (up to specified weights).
