Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the construction quality assurance and warranty administration program, including strategy, standards, metrics, and continuous improvement.
  • •Act as the primary Facilities representative embedded in the Development phase, partnering with Development and Construction.
  • •Proactively review designs, challenge teams to identify potential issues early, and resolve discrepancies between design intent and as-built conditions.
  • •Hold builders and vendors accountable for construction quality and warranty performance, analyzing trends to drive systemic improvements.
  • •Oversee warranty repairs from initiation through verified completion while maintaining clear program documentation and reporting.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent certification.
  • •5+ years of progressive experience in building maintenance, construction, quality inspection, warranty administration, or facilities operations.
  • •Proficiency in residential building codes, including IRC, NEC, IPC, IMC, IECC, windstorm (TDI/TWIA), floodplain, and City of Brownsville amendments.
  • •Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and related technical documents.
  • •Demonstrated independent judgment and cross-functional coordination on matters impacting quality standards, cost, schedule, or vendor performance.
