Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform basic architectural/engineering calculations and prepare specifications, reports, and related data tables.
  • •Maintain liaison with design and drafting groups and prepare/review/approve drawings as required.
  • •Under the Supervising Architect, independently perform advanced technical assignments within approved schedules and budgets.
  • •Coordinate technical and administrative activities with employees in other disciplines and departments participating on assigned projects.
  • •Assist in training and evaluation of architectural and design/drafting personnel; may review and approve conceptual designs and help develop new methods and techniques.

Key Requirements

  • •BA/BS in Architecture plus four (4) years of relevant experience, or demonstrated equivalency.
  • •Licensed as a registered architect or proven steps toward licensure (exams completed), preferably in OH.
  • •Knowledge of building systems and material, and local building codes.
  • •Ability to produce design intent renderings and design concept diagrams.
  • •Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and highly proficient 3D modeling software (Revit, SketchUp and/or Rhino).
