Job Summary

Build and ship backend systems for AI-powered customer communication at scale, including multi-channel outreach agents, configurable communication workflows, and a centralized communication hub spanning email, SMS, and voice. As a senior backend engineer in the Growth engineering pod, you’ll own technical decisions end-to-end, partner with Product and Design on evolving specs, and optimize for low-latency, high-performance as usage grows.

Key Requirements

•Around 5-8 years of software engineering experience as an individual contributor, with a focus on owning technical problems rather than people management.
•A strong track record shipping production systems end-to-end and clearly explaining technical decisions and learnings.
•Comfort working through ambiguity and solving problems without predefined solutions.
•Strong technical depth, with the ability to dive into details of your own work rather than speaking generally.
•Experience with TypeScript and/or Python; experience building AI-powered products, conversational AI, communication platforms, or SMS/compliance systems is a plus.
