Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the new business lifecycle for strategic and national space system sensing (payload) opportunities through program startup for MSP and Raytheon commitments.
  • •Create and execute customer-aligned win strategies emphasizing Raytheon differentiators and value propositions.
  • •Drive early and ongoing customer engagement to shape requirements, anticipate future needs, and influence acquisition strategies ahead of solicitations.
  • •Collaborate cross-functionally with program managers, chief engineers, and finance to develop discriminating inputs and products for new business pursuits.
  • •Manage new business resources (staffing and budgets) and support proposals, including white papers/presentations, brief senior leadership on performance metrics, and support AOP/LRP; 25–33% domestic travel.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 12 years of space industry experience in technical or programmatic roles (or 10+ years with an advanced degree) and a university degree or equivalent experience.
  • •At least 5 years leading space market business development pursuits, acquisitions, and/or program cross-functional teams on individual efforts valued at least $50M.
  • •Demonstrated experience working for or with U.S. Space Force, U.S. Space Command, Space Systems Command, Space Development Agency, and/or the National Reconnaissance Office.
  • •Experience developing and delivering white papers, proposal elements, and executive-level briefings.
  • •Experience with U.S. government acquisition and planning/programming processes and interface with USSF and IC customers.
