Key Responsibilities

  • •Use laptops/tablets and the work-order system to create, assign, and monitor work orders, track service intervals, and order parts.
  • •Diagnose equipment issues by pulling data from makes/models to determine root cause and corrective action quickly.
  • •Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment, and oil-free air compressors.
  • •Troubleshoot failures at the shop and on customer locations; handle repairs and assist with equipment setup and operation.
  • •Maintain accurate daily paperwork/electronic documentation and assist with pick-up/delivery of equipment and parts.

Key Requirements

  • •Own tools applicable to the position.
  • •Advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools.
  • •Experience with power generators and/or commercial HVAC equipment, including inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
  • •Experience reading schematics and calculating nominal/effective tonnage and/or kW requirements.
  • •High school diploma; trade school certificate preferred, with EPA 608 certification preferred (obtainable within 6-12 months).
