Job Summary

Maintain and repair a heavy equipment fleet in the Plant Workshop, performing scheduled preventive and condition-based maintenance on earthmoving machinery. Troubleshoot and carry out corrective repairs on crawler cranes, including key boom and undercarriage systems. Diagnose and repair hydraulic systems, inspect and overhaul components, and interpret OEM manuals, hydraulic schematics, and wiring diagrams while keeping accurate maintenance records and complying with HSE and LOTO requirements.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform scheduled preventive and condition-based maintenance on earthmoving equipment in line with OEM manuals and intervals.
•Troubleshoot and complete corrective repairs on crawler cranes, including slewing ring, boom hoist, main hoist, and undercarriage systems.
•Diagnose and repair hydraulic systems, including cylinders, pumps, motors, control valves, and hose assemblies.
•Inspect, overhaul, and replace engine, transmission, final drive, differential, and brake components.
•Complete work orders and maintenance records accurately, and ensure compliance with HSE policies and LOTO (where applicable).

Key Requirements

•Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience maintaining and repairing earthmoving equipment (e.g., CAT, Komatsu, Volvo, Liebherr or equivalent).
•Minimum 2 years of experience on crawler cranes (lattice boom or telescopic).
•Proficiency in hydraulic system diagnosis and repair.
•Ability to read and interpret OEM service manuals, hydraulic schematics, and electrical wiring diagrams.
•Valid light vehicle or forklift driving license (preferred).
