Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage and grow the planning consents service.
  • •Lead major development applications in the Republic of Ireland and provide strategic planning advice to clients and internal teams.
  • •Ensure projects are delivered successfully on budget and within programme timelines.
  • •Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams for seamless project execution.
  • •Oversee planning consents deliverables, uphold quality assurance, and implement health and safety principles; contribute to business development and tenders.

Key Requirements

  • •Significant relevant experience leading planning consent applications in Ireland for large infrastructure projects across consenting regimes, ideally in energy, transport, or rail sectors.
  • •Proven experience delivering major development applications in the Republic of Ireland.
  • •Expert witness experience is advantageous.
  • •Client and stakeholder experience, including existing relationships with clients and local authorities, plus strong interpersonal and collaborative skills.
  • •A degree in Town Planning or a related discipline, and membership of the Irish Planning Institute, Chartered Member of the RTPI (or equivalent professional body).
