Key Responsibilities

  • •Monitor operating parameters and equipment status, including inspections of pumps, valves, filters, membranes, chemical dosing systems, and auxiliary equipment.
  • •Perform plant start-up, shutdown, and equipment changeovers according to operating procedures.
  • •Record operational data, readings, and events in log sheets and shift reports, and assist in process monitoring/troubleshooting.
  • •Identify abnormalities (leaks, vibrations, malfunctions) and report them; assist maintenance teams and perform basic maintenance (cleaning, lubrication, minor repairs).
  • •Collect water samples, monitor RO membranes/pretreatment/chemical dosing and water quality parameters, and maintain HSE and housekeeping standards.

Key Requirements

  • •Diploma or Technical Certificate in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Process, or Water Treatment Engineering.
  • •3–4 years of experience in RO desalination plants (50 MLD or above) and water treatment plants.
  • •Experience with wastewater treatment plants.
  • •Experience in process industries (chemical, power, utilities).
  • •Follow HSE procedures, use PPE, and comply with permit-to-work requirements.
