Job Summary

Lead complex troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repair activities for ASML semiconductor systems deployed at customer sites across Asia. Anticipate and resolve escalated machine problems, advise on repair strategies, and influence SLA metrics for scheduled and unscheduled downtime. Develop and optimize procedures, build problem-solving capacity for new product launches, and train/coach first-line engineers and customers with relevant training materials.

Key Responsibilities

•Analyze complex, multi-module machine problems and decide on initial approaches, adapting as new diagnostic information is found.
•Advise on strategies for scheduled and unscheduled downtime within competency to influence SLA metrics such as availability/uptime, MTBI, throughput/productivity, and yield.
•Drive problem handovers and routing with other engineering teams, ensuring clear ownership and complete documentation for resolution.
•Execute complex and non-routine repairs, using tools and replacing parts, and define fundamental improvements to increase efficiency and serviceability.
•Train and coach engineers and customers on routine and non-routine maintenance, and (co)develop internal training syllabus and plans for new engineers.

Key Requirements

•MS degree in a relevant technical field (Electrical Technology, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, etc.) with thorough experience, or comparable experience.
•Experience in the semiconductor industry is required.
•Specialized knowledge in pneumatics, hydraulics or electronics, semiconductor processes, and relevant software.
•Expert knowledge of primary competency and advanced cross-competency knowledge of main/sub modules and product functionality.
•Proven experience in strong stakeholder management in a multidisciplinary environment, with deep and specialized primary-competency knowledge.
