Key Responsibilities

  • •Build and develop a Release Management function, leading and coaching a team of Release Managers supporting multiple engineering groups.
  • •Partner with Engineering, QE, VQL, Product, Program, DevOps, Operations, and Support to drive aligned release execution and operating cadence.
  • •Establish and scale release governance, standards, policies, readiness criteria, approval workflows, and Go/No-Go recommendations.
  • •Oversee integrated release calendars, milestone planning, dependency tracking, and release plans including quality validation, environment readiness, launch coordination, rollback, and support preparedness.
  • •Define release health metrics and dashboards, manage release risks and escalations, drive CI/CD process/tooling improvements, and lead post-release retrospectives and root cause analysis.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years in Release Management, Technical Program Management, or Software Delivery, including 3+ years leading teams in a multi-product software organization.
  • •Experience building or scaling release management across cloud, mobile, embedded, and firmware domains.
  • •Track record managing and developing a team of 5–10 Release Managers, including coaching and performance management.
  • •Strong release governance expertise including readiness frameworks, Go/No-Go decision-making, and risk/escalation management.
  • •Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, deployment orchestration, and modern release automation practices.
