Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as a strategic advisor to division and operating company leadership on cost management, supplier strategy, market risk, and procurement opportunities.
  • •Develop and execute the South Central Division procurement strategy aligned with CRH objectives to deliver cost savings, value creation, and operational efficiency.
  • •Lead supplier selection, negotiations, contracting, and supplier performance management while strengthening strategic supplier relationships.
  • •Partner with Finance to forecast, track, validate, and realize procurement savings and ensure value capture reflects in budgets and business results.
  • •Lead procurement transformation workstreams, including SAP deployment support and Procure-to-Pay process standardization; champion technology-enabled procurement capabilities.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree required; Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or Finance concentration preferred.
  • •10+ years progressive procurement, strategic sourcing, or category management experience, including 5+ years leading procurement teams across multiple locations or business units.
  • •Deep expertise in strategic sourcing, category management, contract negotiation, and supplier relationship management.
  • •Strong financial and business acumen, including cost driver, savings methodology, and P&L/cash flow impact understanding.
  • •Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; ERP implementation experience highly preferred (SAP experience a plus).
