Own and evolve RDS database platform services for ByteDance’s global infrastructure. Key Responsibilities

•Partner with Product Managers to develop RDS features and drive cross-team collaboration for timely delivery.
•Design and develop the RDS platform and core components including instance management, resource lifecycle, monitoring/alerting, and backup/restore systems.
•Implement high-performance, reliable, and secure database service capabilities such as automated deployment, elastic scaling, fault self-healing, and data consistency guarantees.
•Conduct performance and scalability tests and research improvement ideas.
•Participate in release and deployment processes while solving large-scale, highly complex cloud infrastructure problems.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer-related fields.
•Minimum 2 years of software development experience.
•Proficiency in one or more general-purpose programming languages such as Golang or Python.
•Demonstrated good coding practices, including refactoring and unit testing experience.
•Familiarity with web development frameworks and tools such as Django, Flask, Gin, or Kitex, and with database management/internal implementation mechanisms.
