Key Responsibilities

  • •Oversee project accounting activities for U.S. and international projects, including invoicing, reconciliations, revenue validation, and customer billing support.
  • •Partner with Project Managers to ensure contract compliance and accurate revenue recognition.
  • •Consolidate and analyze global accounts receivable forecasts across international subsidiaries, and prepare/monitor global cash flow forecasts.
  • •Supervise, coach, and mentor the Project Accounting team, including reviewing work, providing technical guidance, and supporting professional development.
  • •Support audits and internal controls, including SOX compliance, and prepare consolidated financial reports and project performance metrics for executive leadership.

Key Requirements

  • •CA/CPA/MBA (or equivalent) with strong preference for a professional qualification.
  • •8-10 years of progressive experience in project accounting, inventory accounting, accounts receivable, and collections management.
  • •Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, including ASC 606 revenue recognition and percentage-of-completion accounting.
  • •Experience managing multinational accounting operations, multi-currency reporting, consolidations, and intercompany transactions.
  • •ERP experience (Oracle, NetSuite, or similar) plus advanced Microsoft Excel and ability to interpret complex commercial contracts.
