Support the company’s product business as Product Legal Counsel and Legal BP, performing legal reviews of product features and AI training/deployment, providing legal opinions, and advising on cross-jurisdictional issues. Partner cross-regionally with product, business, and compliance stakeholders to resolve complex matters, optimize legal processes, and help teams handle day-to-day commercial transactions including contract drafting and negotiation. Manage multiple high-stakes tasks in fast-paced environments.

Key Responsibilities

•Conduct comprehensive legal assessments of product functions and features, including AI model training and deployment, and provide legal opinions.
•Provide cross-regional and cross-functional legal support to resolve complex issues across multiple jurisdictions and legal areas, delivering pragmatic solutions under tight timelines.
•Identify process bottlenecks, develop clear guidelines for high-frequency scenarios, and train relevant teams on common issues.
•Assist business teams with day-to-day commercial transactions and participate in drafting and negotiating business contracts.
•Handle other tasks assigned by your manager as needed.

Key Requirements

•Around 5 years of experience in the internet and technology sector, either at a reputable law firm or as legal counsel at an internet/technology/entertainment company.
•Hands-on expertise in one or more areas such as AI governance, data protection/data privacy, minor protection, content moderation and safety, copyright, developer ecosystem, and media & entertainment law.
•Strong ability to identify and analyze legal issues, draft legal opinions, and negotiate agreements, including complex cross-jurisdictional matters.
•Proficiency in Chinese and English to collaborate with Mandarin-speaking partners and stakeholders.
•Strong business acumen and communication skills, with project management experience handling multiple high-stakes tasks in fast-paced environments.
