Job Summary

Integrate, test, and verify communications avionics software in mission-critical aerospace and defense programs. Work in a collaborative Agile team to translate system and software requirements into test and verification strategies, build automated/semi-automated test scripts using Python, and verify builds in integrated lab environments. Collaborate cross-functionally, present technical status updates, improve test processes/tools, mentor younger engineers, and support formal verification events and program deliveries.

Key Responsibilities

•Support systems engineering activities in an Agile environment, translating system/software requirements into test and verification strategies.
•Develop automated and semi-automated test scripts using Python to validate software functionality and system performance.
•Verify software builds in integrated lab environments and support formal verification events for major program deliveries.
•Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to refine system requirements and design solutions.
•Present technical progress/status updates to Agile team members and engineering leadership; mentor younger engineers through systems engineering tasks and contribute to improving test processes/tools.

Key Requirements

•Typically requires a STEM degree and minimum 5 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree and minimum 3 years of experience.

•Experience with engineering tools such as DOORS, PREP, TLBD, ALM, JIRA, Enterprise Architect, or similar.
