Key Responsibilities

  • •Collaborate with small teams to design and deliver software improvements for Stripe’s customers.
  • •Learn and ramp up on new internal systems through independent research and mentorship.
  • •Develop and validate outputs using AI tools while applying rigorous critical thinking and professional judgment.
  • •Participate in multi-person coding projects and contribute to larger code bases.
  • •Explain your work clearly to stakeholders, team members, and other Stripes.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or a directly related field obtained by summer 2027, or equivalent work experience.
  • •New grad candidates should have no more than 18 months of professional experience (excluding internship experience).
  • •Experience with programming through side projects or classwork, with familiarity with Java, Ruby, JavaScript, Scala, and Go.
  • •Experience from internships or collaborative multi-person coding projects in a university or professional setting.
  • •Ability to learn unfamiliar systems through independent research and work with a mentor or subject matter experts.
