Job Summary

Lead and complete complex commercial agreement drafting and contract management, including merchant acceptance, master service, and signature account agreements. Partner across Legal, Finance, Product, and Sales to develop, approve, and manage contracts from approved financial proposals. Serve as a subject matter expert for the Legal Commercial Contract team, streamline contracting workflows, and proactively identify improvements that align contracting with Visa’s business objectives.

•Partner with Sales, Finance, and Legal to develop contracts consistently and ensure timely approvals.
•Identify opportunities to add additional value for stakeholders and partners.
•Proactively draft, refine, and streamline contract workflows to improve development, approval, and ongoing management.
•Participate in special assignments and provide ad hoc support as required.

Key Requirements

•8+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or 5+ years with an advanced degree (e.g., Masters, MBA, JD, MD), or 2 years with a PhD.
•6+ years of extensive contract drafting experience, with demonstrated expertise as a contract drafter.
•Degree and a J.D. from an accredited law school or equivalent experience.
•Experience managing staff in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.
•Strong understanding of payments industry and Visa products and services.
