Key Responsibilities

  • •Create, assign, and monitor work orders; track machine service intervals; order parts; diagnose issues and determine root cause and corrective action.
  • •Practice safe job practices when repairing equipment.
  • •Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment, and/or oil-free air compressors.
  • •Troubleshoot equipment failures in the shop and on customer locations and handle the repairs.
  • •Maintain complete and timely paperwork/electronic documentation of work performed and assist with equipment/parts pick-up and delivery.

Key Requirements

  • •Must own tools applicable to the position and have advanced mechanical aptitude with working knowledge of tools.
  • •Experience working on power generators and/or commercial HVAC equipment, performing inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
  • •Experience calculating nominal/effective tonnage and/or kW requirements and reading schematics.
  • •Superior customer service, teamwork, and verbal/written communication skills.
  • •High school diploma; trade school certificate preferred, with EPA 608 certification preferred (obtain within 6-12 months if not already).
