Key Responsibilities

  • •Accountable for end-to-end purchasing activities and achieving KPIs for materials availability, cost control, and supplier performance.
  • •Provide leadership and develop a scalable organization through standard processes and benchmark solutions across business units.
  • •Manage and develop the buyer and planner team (~60), implement buyer/planner metrics, and drive training, upskilling, cross-training, and succession planning.
  • •Drive Materials COE goals and priorities across people, processes, and tools, including key initiatives like on-time delivery, past-due reduction, and excess & obsolete inventory reduction.
  • •Support analytical requirements for materials management and engage stakeholders through periodic meetings to ensure timely resolution of feedback and queries.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree required.
  • •15+ years of experience in materials management, including project and flow purchasing in a manufacturing environment.
  • •Extensive people management experience, including managing and developing buyer and planner teams.
  • •SAP experience is required; knowledge of Kinaxis is a plus.
  • •Ability to identify root causes, drive continuous improvement, and communicate effectively with diverse senior and operations stakeholders.
