Job Summary

Lead technical engagement for complex enterprise sales cycles in the Strategic territory, partnering with Enterprise Sales and channel partners. Conduct customer discovery, deliver tailored product demonstrations, and develop proof-of-concept environments with interactive workshops. Collaborate with account managers and product stakeholders to support transformation deals and growth opportunities, while continuously expanding pre-sales expertise, certifications, and competitive knowledge. Fluent German and English required.

•Conduct customer discovery to assess challenges, business goals, and technical requirements and identify cross-product expansion opportunities.
•Deliver tailored product demonstrations that address objections and connect technical capabilities to business needs using storytelling.
•Develop proof-of-concept environments and lead interactive workshops to showcase features, workflows, and hands-on solutions.
•Continuously enhance technical expertise by staying current on the roadmap, pursuing certifications, and refining pre-sales knowledge and processes.
•Collaborate with internal teams, account managers, and product stakeholders to support transformation deals and articulate Atlassian’s differentiators versus competitors.

Travel: Low travel

•Experience in sales engineering for large enterprise or strategic accounts.
•Experience presenting to senior stakeholders, including executive leadership.
•Strong communication skills across oral, written, and presentation formats with relationship-building ability.
•Proactive, collaborative, and solutions-oriented approach; comfortable working in active pre-sales engagements.
•Willing and able to travel occasionally.
