Key Responsibilities

  • •Support the Loan Operations Team Lead in processing loan requests and preparing loan packages for review by Documentation, Compliance, and Lending Origination Officers.
  • •Prepare submissions of files for boarding, including disbursement of loan proceeds, and ensure fees are collected at closing; follow up on post-closing exceptions and obtain original signed documents.
  • •Monitor tickler files and research credit inquiries and UCC filings to assess creditworthiness and collateral positioning using UCC/lien search platforms.
  • •Work with complex loan packages and assist in training and development of less experienced Loan Administrators.
  • •Review closing documentation for accuracy, negotiate resolution of closing exceptions with borrowers/outside counsel as needed, and coordinate resolution of legal/title/collateral issues.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of related experience in Loan Administration, Lending and/or Deposit Sales (commercial lending strongly preferred).
  • •High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • •Intermediate knowledge of general banking operations, including deposit operations, loan administration, treasury management, and/or other commercial banking products and services.
  • •Intermediate knowledge of regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules, and industry standards.
  • •Intermediate knowledge of one or more loan types; commercial loan products (lines of credit, commercial real estate, syndication, corporate finance) preferred.
