Key Responsibilities

  • •Attend roadside assistance calls, assess the situation, diagnose faults, and repair at scene wherever safe and possible.
  • •Make safety-led decisions on repair versus recovery; arrange professional recovery and dealer workshop attention when needed.
  • •Own each job end-to-end by communicating with customers, setting expectations, and providing reassurance.
  • •Operate and maintain a fully equipped van, manage tools and parts, follow safety procedures, and keep accurate notes in systems.
  • •Work to service, safety, and quality standards while working efficiently toward achievable targets.

  • •Proven experience as a vehicle or roadside technician who can work independently at the scene as the sole decision-maker.
  • •Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills using modern equipment to identify issues and choose the safest, fastest route to get customers moving.
  • •Confident, calm customer communication, managing expectations and safety as the face of Allianz Partners.
  • •Comfortable using IT, mobile apps and diagnostic software for digital tools and accurate data capture.
  • •Full UK driving licence and confidence driving a fully equipped van; flexibility for rotating shifts (7am–10pm) including some weekends and Bank Holidays.
