Key Responsibilities

  • •Analyze, design, and build systems that support critical rocket launches and testing.
  • •Drive cradle-to-grave project ownership, including design reviews, decision justification, procurement, and construction coordination.
  • •Perform interdisciplinary engineering for system-level process design, initial sizing, pressurized fluid and thermal analysis, structural engineering, and cost/schedule optimization.
  • •Work with technicians and support groups to build designs and troubleshoot real-world issues during execution.
  • •Activate, commission, and troubleshoot equipment to meet design objectives and iterate maintenance strategies to reduce downtime.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, chemical, aerospace, or another engineering discipline.
  • •5+ years of hands-on build or design experience.
  • •Experience with high-pressure and cryogenic fluid systems and components/operations.
  • •Experience with instrumentation, testing, data review and analysis, and verification against an analytical model.
  • •Intermediate CAD experience (NX preferred) and ASME piping and pressure vessel design experience.
