Job Summary

Design and build cryogenic propellant processing and generation systems for Starship launch, landing, test, and production sites. Own projects end-to-end from design reviews and sizing through procurement and construction coordination. Apply systems process, pressurized fluid/thermal, structural, and materials expertise, troubleshoot equipment on the fly, and maintain a tight feedback loop with operations teams to meet launch deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

•Analyze, design, and build systems that support critical rocket launches and testing.
•Drive cradle-to-grave project ownership, including design reviews, decision justification, procurement, and construction coordination.
•Perform interdisciplinary engineering for system-level process design, initial sizing, pressurized fluid and thermal analysis, structural engineering, and cost/schedule optimization.
•Work with technicians and support groups to build designs and troubleshoot real-world issues during execution.
•Activate, commission, and troubleshoot equipment to meet design objectives and iterate maintenance strategies to reduce downtime.

Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, chemical, aerospace, or another engineering discipline.
•5+ years of hands-on build or design experience.
•Experience with high-pressure and cryogenic fluid systems and components/operations.
•Experience with instrumentation, testing, data review and analysis, and verification against an analytical model.
•Intermediate CAD experience (NX preferred) and ASME piping and pressure vessel design experience.
