Key Responsibilities

  • •Work with the harnessing design team on designing flight and test harnessing
  • •Create wiring diagrams, block diagrams, schematics, and layout drawings of spacecraft harnessing
  • •Work with cross-functional teams to define interfaces between different subsystems
  • •Use CAD programs to route harnessing in 3D
  • •Work with production to fabricate in-house cables

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 29 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •Currently pursuing a B.S., M.S. or Ph.D. in mechatronics or electrical engineering (or equivalent technical degree)
  • •Interest in learning about, designing, and working with spacecraft systems and subsystems
  • •Familiar with power and data transmission concepts
  • •Bonus: Experience with Zuken (or other harness design software)
  • •Bonus: Experience with 3D CAD software like Solidworks
