Job Summary

Delivery Solutions Architect (DSA) for public sector leads post-sale technical engagement, aligning Databricks platform use cases with customer stakeholders, guiding cross-functional teams, and driving production adoption. You’ll balance technical leadership with commercial strategy, own multi-team execution plans, and communicate value of Databricks workloads to executives while enabling onboarding, success, and healthy consumption in large complex accounts.

Job Function: Solutions Engineering & Sales Engineering

Key Responsibilities

•Lead and coordinate post-sale technical strategy and execution for allocated use cases across multiple selling teams and stakeholders to ensure onboarding, enablement, and successful production of Databricks workloads.
•Serve as the primary technical contact for production/go-live status, addressing issues across large, complex organizations and coordinating with Shared Services, Onboarding/Technical Services, and Support resources as needed.
•Develop and execute a tactical plan to accelerate key use cases into production, coordinating with Professional Services on delivery of PS engagements.
•Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to align on new product innovations, previews, and upgrade needs, ensuring technical viability and customer value.
•Provide internal and external KPI updates on usage and customer health to leadership, including risks, adoption, and progress of use cases.

Travel: Low travel

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 180,000 - 247,500 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience
•7+ years of experience in data/AI delivery, with ability to contribute to technical debate and design with customers
•Programming experience in Python, SQL or Scala
•Experience in a customer-facing pre-sales, technical architecture, customer success, or consulting role
•Understanding of solution architecture related to distributed data systems
