Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide legal advice to the business on U.S. Customs, export controls, and sanctions regulations.
  • •Lead trade compliance investigations and manage submissions and disclosures to the U.S. government as required.
  • •Manage ITC compliance policies and procedures and key elements of the trade compliance program.
  • •Monitor and communicate new international trade laws, rules, and regulations impacting the business.
  • •Manage ITC compliance training content and support annual roll-outs for program initiatives.

Key Requirements

  • •Hold a Juris Doctor Degree from an accredited law school or international equivalent.
  • •At least 5 additional years of experience in compliance and regulatory counsel.
  • •Admission to practice law and good standing with at least one U.S. state bar (or equivalent in other jurisdictions).
  • •Experience with U.S. and EU licensing/registration regimes, including dual use, military, and nuclear.
  • •Strong negotiation, presentation, and analytical skills with excellent oral and written communication.
