Job Summary

Lead climate resilience and adaptation advisory work for UK and EMEA infrastructure and business clients. You’ll strengthen climate risk assessment offerings, develop practical service solutions with practice leadership, and help grow the Carbon and ESG portfolio through winning and delivering projects. This role includes line management and mentoring to develop talent, while ensuring high-quality professional outputs across collaborative programmes.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead, manage, and deliver commercially successful resilience/adaptation projects with high-quality professional outputs.
•Strengthen climate change risk assessment and adaptation leadership for infrastructure and business clients across the UK and Europe.
•Develop climate change resilience service offerings with practice leadership for collaborative projects and external clients.
•Contribute to business growth by winning work and expanding market share across infrastructure and government/business resilience in the UK and EMEA region.
•Develop talent through line management and mentoring, supporting colleagues’ upskilling in climate change resilience and adaptation.

Key Requirements

•Experience developing climate change resilience and adaptation strategies at an organisational level, including interpreting climate observation and projection data.
•Experience conducting climate change risk assessment for infrastructure systems and assets, including designing adaptation and resilient solutions (engineered and natural).
•Experience advising infrastructure sectors such as transport, water/wastewater, waste, energy, and urban infrastructure, as well as government and local government.
•Proven track record winning and delivering climate risk assessment and adaptation strategies for infrastructure, urban/regional and/or business clients in the UK and overseas.
•Strong understanding of climate change adaptation projects, including how infrastructure interventions, spatial planning, and governance increase sustainability and resilience of development.
