Job Summary

Lead the development, implementation, and management of federal agency programs and projects that strengthen relationships between USAA, strategic partners, federal agency leaders, and members/prospects. Own advocacy strategy and cross-functional integration, align program activity to business priorities, and serve as a subject matter expert for product teams. Build internal processes, advise senior leadership and teams, represent USAA at public events, and ensure risks and performance metrics are monitored. Based in San Antonio with 4 in-office days per week.

•Develop and manage federal agency programs and projects, ensuring alignment to USAA strategic priorities.
•Synchronize and integrate advocacy initiatives to execute association federal agency advocacy strategy and strengthen USAA brand across channels.
•Lead and advise cross-functional teams on relationship and advocacy initiatives and serve as a subject matter expert on product teams.
•Influence association policies, standards, and procedures; collaborate with Marketing and Reputation partners on accurate content and imagery.
•Monitor trends and risks, identify issues for escalation, and advise/train senior management, employees, and third-party vendors on federal agency culture and relationships.

•Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and strong verbal and written communication skills.
