Key Responsibilities

  • •Partner with a cross-functional team to deliver a product customers love.
  • •Leverage a broad technology stack (Python, Conda, AWS, H2O, Spark, etc.) to uncover insights from large numeric and textual datasets.
  • •Build machine learning models across the full lifecycle: design, training, evaluation, validation, and implementation.
  • •Translate the complexity of data science work into tangible business goals and customer outcomes.
  • •Own the end-to-end technical strategy for Hotels Search & Sort and Pricing Optimization.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree (or Master’s/PhD) in a quantitative field with years of experience performing data analytics (6 years with Bachelor’s; 4 with Master’s/MBA; 1 with PhD).
  • •At least 1 year of experience leveraging open source programming languages for large-scale data analysis.
  • •At least 1 year of experience working with machine learning.
  • •At least 1 year of experience utilizing relational databases.
  • •Preferred: at least 1 year with AWS and/or 5+ years using Python, Scala, or R for large-scale data analysis.
