Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist during rigging-up and rigging-down of cementing service equipment at work locations, including spotting cement storage vessels and preparing spacer fluids.
  • •Learn and apply basic oil well and cementing concepts such as plug landing pressures, absolute volumes, hydrostatic/differential pressure, and cement blending calculations.
  • •Assist with cement pumping and related equipment, including blenders, liquid additive metering systems, pumps, data acquisition systems, ADC systems, delivery/storage systems, manifolds, and cementing plug releasing tools.
  • •Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and complete associated paperwork/reports.
  • •Ensure compliance with HSE regulations and procedures, support quality improvement processes, and verify correct valve line-up on bulk systems and surface manifold equipment.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent education required.
  • •Minimum 3-6 months of experience as Operator Assistant I – Cementing, or 1 year of related work experience in oilfield services.
  • •Class A CDL licensure able to operate a manual transmission.
  • •Satisfactory driver record with no DWI/DUI convictions in the past three years or any current DWI/DUI charges.
  • •Candidates must have ability to communicate effectively with others and comply with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) procedures.
